The Research Papers series comprises a collection of scientific working papers. They serve to disseminate the research findings of the staff members of the Office of the Austrian Productivity Board under their own name. They are written with the aim of being published in a refereed journal or an edited volume. The target audience for this publication series is the international scientific community. Therefore, the contributions are primarily published in English. They do not necessarily reflect the views of the Austrian Productivity Board or the Oesterreichische Nationalbank."
